Stories will Haunt the Overholser Mansion This Fall

As the crisp autumn air gathers around the outside of the classic Edwardian era mansion, local storytelling artisan, Marilyn A. Hudson, of Norman, will share stories to suit the season of chills and mystery in a series of special program of shivery stories and tours the local historic site.

Hudson will once again share stories of ghosts, hauntings, and historically strange events in a benefit series beginning Thursday night, October 24 and ending Friday night, October 25.

Each evening will feature 2 sessions of stories and 2 tours of the historic mansion erected in 1903.  Ticket sales benefit the home built by early business magnet Henry Overholser. Space is limited.

Hudson has told stories for numerous schools, libraries and community events across the state including at the Spirit of Oklahoma Storytelling Festival, Lawton Community Theater, The Arts Festival, at Wintertales, and at the OKC Storytelling Festival. In addition to her professional storytelling she is also a published author.
