I am looking forward to several events this October - my favorite month after all! I will speak to a adult class at a local institution exploring the history and stories of UFO's and other odd things! I will do a presentation at a conference on the same topic, do storytelling at three private events and perhaps join an author panel and then do some storytelling for a library if plans go through!

Perfect for Libraries and Schools this Fall
Spooky stories are perfect for winter's longer evenings and dreary days....
Age appropriate.
Drawn from legends, literature, and the imagination.
Reasons To Tell Spooky Stories:
1) Such stories allow an individual of any age to engage in and express emotional responses.
2) Such stories often challenge thinking about fears and give occasion to exercise problem solving
3) Such stories also serve as models of survival by sharpening skills in seeing and understanding situations.
4) Such stories can serve to remind people of all ages that "Flight" (running from danger or fears) can be smarter than "Fighting."
6) Such stories have universally served to remind people that they are alive and to celebrate the thud of the heart, the rapid breath of surprise and the suspense of fear as healthy and useful assurances that they are ALIVE!
7) Such stories often serve to allow people to vicariously live through dangerous situations, recognize their fear responses and be safely returned to the normal world with valuable lessons about themselves and others.

SUMMER 2019 - NEW PROGRAM OFFERING!
Storytelling is an exciting art form with multiple uses - amaze
friends, generate thought, present no viewpoints, teach history (or science or
peace), astound family and become the talk of your circle!
In the program 1) Hear a story (demonstration of outcome),
2) learn about storytelling, 3) learn how to find stories to tell, 4) and learn
how to tell stories to others in a lively and fun manner (using my “Activated
Storytelling” approach).
Email me and learn about fees and see about scheduling!
