"Floozy in the Fog" - - A Ghost Story

This is an original ghost story based on a tale shared with me by a retired county deputy sheriff. He graciously allowed me to share his story.  Decades after the event he still had no explanation for what he saw...

BRISTOW GETS SPOOKY OCT. 21.

STORYTELLING AT STROUD, OKLAHOMA: A MONTHLY GUILD STARTING

WEBSITE: HTTPS://STROUDOKSTORYTELLING.BLOGSPOT.COM

Hello 2022!

I wonder how many of us have felt like a bug crawling out from beneath the rock they had been hiding under for the last 2+ years? As life moves toward normalcy- vaccinated and ready to feel human - things are looking up.

The recent SPIRIT OF OKLAHOMA STORYTELLING FESTIVAL, via ZOOM, was engaging and educational despite the limitations of the online experience. It has allowed so many to discover and learn even with the realities of a pandemic life.

I joined the TERRITORY TELLERS, the statewide storytelling organization of Oklahoma, as a Board Member at large.  Sounds like there should be a reward involved, doesn't it?

I have also begun work on a local storytelling guild in Stroud, Oklahoma. Right on Route 66 the group is small but growing and meets the 4th Thursday of the month. The local Stroud UMC has kindly become our host and we use an room in the educational building.
